    Job Description

    The Direct Support Professional DSP Caregiver is responsible to work cooperatively with the Program Director and other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating consumer care and programming. The individual should follow up directly with the Program Director on any program or personnel issues within Day Program. The individual should follow up with the Coordinator in areas related to activity, medical, or maintenance needs of the vehicles.

    The Direct Support Professional is responsible to provide direct services to the consumers including assisting in maintaining clean, safe transportation to activities, supervising, training, and assisting the consumers in every aspect of their lives.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health diagnosis or interfering behaviors
    • Must have a high school diploma or GED Certification
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
    • Current auto liability insurance
    • Reliable transportation
