    WE OFFER: 

    • Work Environment: Onsite, Mendota Heights, MN for the first 90 days with opportunity for Hybrid after orientation period (2 to 3 days a week).
    • Compensation: $27.60 to $28.35 Hourly.

    • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM CST during orientation (first 90 days). Then it will change to 7 AM - 3:30 PM CST.

    Job Description

    The Consumer Finance Coordinator ensures accurate, timely management of consumer personal funds, service authorizations, and room & board accounts. You'll work across multiple states, interact with a variety of personalities in operations, and support audits, reconciliations, and process improvements. This role is detail-oriented, process-heavy, and essential to maintaining the integrity of Dungarvin's financial systems. 

    WHAT YOU'll DO: 

    • Financial processing: Pay invoices, enter deposits, adjust credit/debit card limits, and reconcile daily bank balances 
    • Revenue & receivables: Enter and reconcile room & board accounts, research unpaid balances, and collaborate with Social Security and state/county agencies 
    • Service authorization management: Oversee authorizations from start to finish, ensure billing aligns with approvals, and track all changes in systems 
    • Reporting & audits: Prepare journal entries, sub-ledgers, write-offs, and monthly/quarterly reports; support audits and process improvement initiatives 
    • Customer service: Collaborate with operations staff across states, balancing patience with strong personalities while ensuring accuracy 
    • Organizational excellence: Maintain detailed, organized financial records and contribute to continuous improvement 

    Qualifications

    MUST HAVE:  

    • Expertise & Education: High School Diploma or GED and 2+  years of  accounting, billing, or finance experience OR  a minimum of 5+ years of related Experience. 
    • Technical Proficiencies: Workday, UltiPro (Ultimate Software), Kronos, and other payroll and time-keeping systems. 
    • Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint for efficient communication, reporting, and documentation. 

    NICE TO HAVE:  

    • Accounting Systems:  Experience with Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and multiple accounting or billing systems. 
    • Industry Experience: Prior experience working within healthcare, human services, Social Services or other regulated environments.  
    • Financial & Benefits Experience: Experience supporting fiduciary or Representative Payee functions, with prior exposure to service authorization and benefits coordination. 
    • Process & Audit Experience: Experience supporting audits and process improvement initiatives, including work with multiple patient accounting or billing applications. 
    • Bill Paying Systems: Familiarity with My Money (Dungarvin system), E- Guardianship and RMF.
