- Compensation: $94,900/year (Fixed Rate)
- Work Environment: Hybrid, 2 Days onsite in the Mendota Heights, MN office.

Job Description
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the general accounting function and supervising accounting staff. This role ensures accurate, timely financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager plays a key role in financial close, audit coordination, cost reporting, lease accounting oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to support Dungarvin's mission and organizational goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supervise and support general accounting staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and development
- Oversee general ledger operations, reconciliations, and monthly close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure preparation and distribution of accurate financial statements and required reports
- Assist with interim and annual audits, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of supporting documentation
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support cost reporting activities and respond to cost report audits in collaboration with leadership
- Oversee lease accounting activities, including compliance, audits of lease files, and timely payments
- Manage accounting system modules related to general ledger and lease accounting to maintain data integrity
- Partner with the Controller to research accounting issues, prepare financial analyses, and support special projects
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support compliance
Qualifications
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Expierence: 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- Technology: Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Management: 1+ year of experience supervising or managing accounting staff
- Systems: Experience using Workday and Dynamics GP
- Growth & Acquisition Enablement: Experience supporting acquisitions or organizational growth initiatives
