    Job Description

    What You Get To Do: 

    The Program Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and management of the daily operations and services within one Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) program in Baton Rouge. 

    • Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of DSP staff
    • Scheduling of DSP staff
    • Scheduling medical appointments for individuals supported in the program
    • Monitoring inventory of the home's groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularly
    • Tracking and documentation of receipts and expenditures
    • Ensuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentation
    • Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehicles
    • Regular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within home
    • Provide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travel
    • Ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.  

    Qualifications

    What Makes You a Great Fit:  

    • A high school diploma or GED is required. Preference is given to applicants who have a 2-year degree in the field of human services
    • 2 years of supervisory experience in the human services field providing services directly to individuals with developmental disabilities
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • To qualify candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
    • Candidates must be flexible to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours
    • Proficiency with computers specifically MS 365 and MS Office and able to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology
    • Must be reliable, flexible and possess good decision-making and communication skills
