WHAT WE OFFER:
- Compensation: $20.20 fixed hourly rate
- Work Environment: Remote within the State of Indiana or Ohio

- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5 PM EST (some flexibility may be available)

Job Description
Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities. As an Onboarding Specialist, you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless, positive hiring experience for new team members. You'll coordinate every step of the onboarding process; from background checks to welcome letters-while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your work will help new hires feel supported and set them up for success from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Manage the onboarding process by sending hiring documents, background check packets, and welcome letters, while maintaining consistent communication to ensure timely completion of paperwork and orientation attendance.
Work closely with HR, recruiters, and operations teams to ensure a smooth, compliant onboarding experience, while participating in special projects that enhance hiring processes.
We're looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with a passion for making a great first impression for every new hire.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
HR & Onboarding Systems: Experience using HR and onboarding software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as SmartRecruiters, Workday, and UltiPro.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Google Sheets) for reporting, analysis, and workflow management.
