    Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; Schedule must be flexible to accommodate special needs, projects, and on call.

    Wage: $30.00 per hr.

    Job Description

    To assure all Dungarvin Indiana property and equipment is in safe operating condition and maintained consistent with Dungarvin standards. To provide leadership to the organization in all areas related to property and equipment management including: acquisition, general upkeep, improvement, and cost effectiveness. Supervise and direct the Maintenance Department and all related contracted work. This person will be responsible for all preventative, corrective, and renovating maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and property including: planning, implementation, quality assurance, budgetary adherence, and regulatory compliance.    

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, including:
      • Heating
      • Plumbing
      • Electrical
      • General repairs
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and department oversight
    • Ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and implement preventative maintenance measures
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
    • Strong financial management and communication skills
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in property management
    • Experience working with outside contractors to:
      • Ensure quality results
      • Approve and authorize billing for services
    • 4 or more years of post-high school education preferred

    DRIVING REQUIREMENT

    Unlimited Driving Position --defined as one that requires an employee to drive a motor vehicle as a part of his/her Dungarvin work, including vehicles owned or leased by Dungarvin, and/or to drive a vehicle in which a person served is transported.

     Any employee in this position must comply with the requirements outlined in the POLICY AND PROCEDURE ON DRIVING AND THE USE OF MOTOR VEHICLES (A-8).  All employees in this position must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as defined by our insurance carrier.  An employee hired for a position that requires the employee to drive their own car is responsible for their own automobile insurance.
