    Schedules:

    Sun/Mon 11pm-9am, Saturday 11p-7am (Waterbury)

    Sun 11am-5pm, Fri 2pm-7pm, Sat 11am-4pm (Waterbury)

    Mon, Tues, Fri 8am-10am (Naugatuck)

    Sun 1pm-9pm, Mon 3pm-10pm, Thurs 3pm-10pm, Fri 3pm-10pm, Sat 1pm-9pm (Thomaston)

    Sun, Mon 3pm-11pm, Tues 3pm-10pm, Sat 7am-3pm (Thomaston)

    Starting Pay: $18 an hour

    Job Description

    Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities.  The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

    • Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. 

    • Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. 

    • Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.  

    Qualifications

    • Valid Drivers License (due to transporting persons served) 

    • Some positions / locations may require own personal vehicle and auto-liability insurance based on the role 

    • A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process 

    • Good communication is key in this role. You'll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
