Make a difference working 1:1 with kiddos or adults in our in-home skills training program! We support people with disabilities in the comfort of their own home, and we're looking for bright, confident and caring support staff to fill our many part-time opportunities!


You'll be successful and enjoy this role if you find pride and fulfillment in providing a wide range of care and support to those in need. You'll get to use your creativity to plan and coordinate activities with the persons served both at their home and out in the community! We want you to grow this role with your talents, strengths and creative thinking. You'll generally work independently to improve the quality of living for the person you serve.

Skills Training hours are generally part-time and occur in the afternoons, evenings and on weekends, averaging from 8 to 25 hours/week. While you work independently, you'll have access to communicate with your supervisor regularly and access to your persons' individual support plans to aid you in your services.

  • Adhere to the mission of respecting and responding to the choices of people in need of supports.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be able to assist with lifting and transferring of persons served.
  • Have a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Have a personal vehicle and liability insurance to use on the job.
  • Have an acceptable driving/criminal record (after receiving an offer, you will need to pass a criminal background check and DMV records check).
  • Have basic computer and communication skills, as you will need to write electronic documentation each shift regarding the activities, health and behaviors of the people you support.
