The Recruiter position is based out of our Oklahoma City main office and is responsible for the recruiting and training of direct care employees who are hired to provide community-based, daily living support to people with developmental disabilities throughout the state of Oklahoma. The Recruitment//Training Coordinator (RTC) is responsible for talent acquisition throughout the state of OK. The RTC will advertise vacancies, conduct interviews, make job offers and hire candidates using an applicant tracking system. The RTC will present new hire orientation trainings and ongoing annual re-training to direct care staff. The RTC will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that our recruitment and training efforts are performed at the highest level of quality.


  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Recruiting experience is preferred and/or experience working with individuals who have disabilities is highly preferred.
  • This position requires excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, as well as time management and organizational skills.
  • This position requires periodic driving of a personal motor vehicle in order to attend regional interviews and other recruiting activities throughout the state of Oklahoma.
  • This position requires the use of computer software applications.

The Recruiter/Training Coordinator position is designated as an non-exempt, hourly position with a 40-hour schedule per week with occasional overtime required. Starting pay rate $15.00-$15.61/hour. The hours are typically during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; however, it may require some evening and weekend hours and there is some flexibility offered in the daily work hours.
