The Nursing Services Manager is responsible to ensure that each individual we serve receives quality individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health.  The Nursing Services Manager acts as a health/medical resource for staff and to ensure the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records.  The Nursing Services Manager  provides leadership to all other direct care staff, acting as a role model to others, and supporting the Program Director (Administrator) with administrative responsibilities and coordination.  As delegated or in the absence of the Program Director, the Nursing Services Manager will act on behalf of the Program Director.  As a licensed staff, the Nursing Services Manager will administer medications per physician’s orders, administer gastronomy tube feedings, and perform nursing procedures within the scope of the RN.   




  • Hold current, and valid, RN License to practice nursing in the State of California
  • At least 4 years nursing experience
  • Must (1) have a minimum of six months of prior experience providing direct supervision and special services; or (2) within six months of beginning to provide direct supervision and special services in the facility, complete at least 12 additional hours of continuing education.
  • Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
  • Must have knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations
  • Must be knowledgeable of restricted health care conditions from Title 22 regulations and Welfare and Institutions Code.
  • Must achieve and maintain First Aid/CPR certification, and achieve competency in Direct Support Professionals training (DSP I and DSP II)
  • Supervisory or lead experience, and clinical case management experience are preferred
  • Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities is preferred



  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Current valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving history (ability to obtain a California license within 30 days of hire if you currently posses an out-of-state license)
  • Must be able to pass a background check by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and follow policies and procedures of the Company related to mandated reporting and confidentiality.
