We are currently searching for a dynamic person to add to our superior team as a Program Director who can work in Indianapolis, IN. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program. In this position, you will direct a team of skilled Direct Support Professionals providing residential services and other supportive assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Overall daily operations of the program, including supervision of staff, scheduling and payroll.
  • Full cycle of staff management (from pre-hiring to post-termination).
  • Ensuring orientation and ongoing training completed per regulations.
  • Retention of high-quality staff.
  • Developing, implementing and managing individual programs.
  • Quality assurance for services provided.
  • Monitoring budgets for multiple sites.

Successful candidates will also have basic computer experience, good oral and written communication skills, exceptional decision-making skills, strong organizational skills, good time management skills and flexibility. Program Directors will also act as a primary role model for staff, providing supervision, structure, guidance, feedback and training, as well as be effective in working with families, outside agencies and the community.

This position requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services (or a related field) strongly preferred, but not required.
  • 2 years of experience in developing and implementing individuals' programs and in budget implementation.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Acceptable driving record/criminal record.
  • Current auto liability insurance.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
