Dungarvin is a national organization that assists individuals in need of supports in their homes, as well as in their communities. We are currently seeking to fill our Program Director position. The Program Director is responsible for directing a team of contractors (Host Home Providers) in providing host homes and other supportive assistance to individuals with disabilities.

The job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination and management of the overall operations and medical, financial and maintenance aspects of an individual's host home.
  • Overseeing implementation of individual support and behavioral plans and Dungarvin policies and procedures.
  • Assessing the needs of an individual on a continual basis.
  • Coordinating and facilitating communication for Interdisciplinary team members that may include case managers, day service representatives, family or legal guardians, and neighbors.
  • Having a working knowledge of individuals' current medical conditions. Overseeing management of medication, doctor appointments, and maintaining and reviewing all documentation concerning medical information with assistance from Dungarvin's nursing staff.
  • Maintaining relationships with contractors providing services/host homes and ensuring that all of the conditions of contract are met.


  • A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
  • Current driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • Acceptable driving record/criminal record in accordance with state regulations and company polices.
  • Reliable transportation.

Full-time. Schedule must be flexible to accommodate various programs, persons served and personnel needs. The Program Director will be a part of a rotating on-call schedule with other Program Directors.
