Dungarvin is seeking qualified Non-Residential Program Counselors to assist the individuals we support in leading happy and healthy lives. Staff will support individuals with a variety of activities, including daily living skills, money management, appointments, community integration, medication administration and following their support plans.

Dungarvin supports individuals predominantly in the St. Paul and surrounding areas. Non-Residential Program Counselors working in an in-home setting will be working 1:1 with individuals in their own apartments or family homes. If you enjoy spending 1:1 time with individuals and giving them the attention they need in order to thrive and become more independent, then this is the setting for you. Dungarvin has immediate full-time Non-Residential Program Counselor opportunities. Hours available are full-time, days.

The Non-Residential Program Counselor is responsible for providing direct services to the individuals, including assisting the individual in addressing designated program areas that may include, but are not limited to, completing shopping trips and errands; budgeting; tracking, scheduling and attending medical appointments; and other areas of daily living that the individual served may have difficulty addressing independently.

Additional Perks:

  • All staff are reimbursed at $0.50/mile plus all travel time between locations.
  • Full-time staff receive $15.00/month for a cell phone reimbursement. Part-time staff receive $5.00/month.
  • Full-time staff receive an iPad to complete on-site documentation.

  • Must have computer skills to electronically document throughout your shift using Therap.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work within the 9am-8pm time frame.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • High behavior or medical experience preferred.
