Dungarvin, a national social service provider of supports to those in need, is seeking a Learning & Development Supervisor to join the Minnesota team.

The Learning and Development Supervisor is responsible for the execution of required training and for the design and development of learning and development offerings. This position leads a team of trainers to offer training solutions to the organization that promotes talent development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering training and other learning and development offerings.
  • Monitoring employee training attendance and performance.
  • Ensuring trainings meet the needs of the organization's requirements for licensing, and providing additional developmental training opportunities.
  • Preferred experience working with learning management systems and combining online training with classroom training.
  • Hiring, training and managing the learning and development team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or three to five years of human resources experience related to facilitation, training, education, development of training programs/curriculum, and in-service presentation. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of experience managing others.
  • Experience with ADDIE training development model and change management preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills, as well as decision-making, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including a familiarity with database programs required.
  • Preferred experience working with learning management systems and combining online training with classroom training.
