Dungarvin, a national social service provider, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join the national Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for providing general Human Resources support to Dungarvin operating companies and assisting with Human Resources management for the national office. In this position, you will support and work with many facets of HR, including benefits administration, group insurance communications, recruiting reports, employee records, HR audit processes and COBRA administration. This is a great opportunity for a person to learn and develop various areas of expertise within the HR function.

Specific duties include:

  • Processing monthly group benefit reconciliations.
  • Maintaining and disseminating benefits information to employees.
  • Confidentially handling personnel information for national employees.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of personnel records for national
  • employees.
  • Administering and monitoring active COBRA participation.
  • Completing routine and requested audit processes.
  • Communicating with HR and payroll staff, insurance contacts and COBRA participants.

Qualifications:

  • AA/BA/BS in Human Resources or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • One to three years of general HR or administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and time
  • management skills.
  • Ability to professionally handle the highest level of confidential
  • information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail; high degree of accuracy in work product.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • HRIS and/or ATS experience a plus.
