Dungarvin is a national human services organization, supporting people with developmental or intellectual disabilities in residential and vocational settings. We have an excellent opportunity within our national HR team. Based out of our Somerset, NJ office, the Human Resources Manager will provide leadership to our NJ and CT human resources teams and will actively participate in the state and regional management teams. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to use their valuable HR experience to make a profound difference in the lives of the vulnerable clients we support and the caring teams of staff we employ.

Duties include supervising a team of 7 HR staff, including recruiters and training coordinators. An emphasis is placed on supporting local supervisory teams with strategic planning, risk management, policy interpretation, employee development and feedback.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of exempt-level human resources experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience), supervisory experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong computer skills. PHR/ SPHR preferred.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday with flexible hours. Occasional overnight travel to our CT offices required.
