Dungarvin, a national social service provider of supports to those in need, is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join the Information Services team. Requirements include:

  • 2-year degree in computer-related field and 2 years of experience providing end-user support.
  • 2 years of experience answering end-user questions via phone, email or in person on all company-supported information systems software and hardware.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and networking technologies, including Windows operating systems, MS Office suite, MS Outlook, Windows Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Strong analytical ability and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficient in time management, strong attention to detail, and adaptable to changes.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with phone system administration, preferably Mitel IP phone systems.
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) and/or Certified IT Professional (MCITP).

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing end user support.
  • Performing PC/network support and maintenance.
  • Assisting with administration of the Dungarvin voicemail and phone system.
  • Providing application and reporting support.
  • Managing PC hardware and OS R&D.
  • Performing PC builds.
  • Managing IS loaner equipment.
  • Assisting with technological research and development.
  • Documenting processes and procedures.
  • Asset tracking and management.
