Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) department and staff.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient accounts receivable processing and compliance with department systems and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate information and analysis is supplied to the Accounts Receivable Manager and all internal and external departments and agencies.
  • Perform all bank reconciliations for the consumer funds department.
  • Perform all bad debt calculations.
  • Facilitate and promote activities and communications that consistently emphasize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Two- or four-year degree in accounting or comparable experience.
  • At least four years of accounting experience with at least two years of managing and supervising staff.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook. Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred.
  • Writing skills must reflect correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition, quality and fluent vocabulary.
  • Speaking skills must include clarity, professionalism and warmth.
  • Ability to present information clearly and accurately to individuals in one-to-one and group settings.
  • Sound decision-making skills and exercise independent judgment.
  • Good organizational, time management, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
